Chakras and the Endocrine System

“Chakra” means “wheel” or “vortex” and looks like a solid ball of energy. The Chakras interact with the body through the endocrine system and the nervous system. Each of the seven main Chakras is associated with one of the seven endocrine glands and also with a group of nerves called a Plexus. Each of the Chakras has governance over particular areas of your body as shown below.

Chakras and the Endocrine System

The endocrine system comprises a number of ductless glands that produce the hormones that are secreted into the bloodstream from particular organs to stimulate or inhibit physical processes. By adjusting the hormone levels, the endocrine system works to maintain the body in a state of optimum health.

The Chakra system is designed to draw forth light/energy into the human body. As the Chakras are linked with the glands, it is then the function of the glandular system to transfer that light/energy into material substance to be used by the body for balancing and wellbeing.

The Crystal Light Bed is a powerful therapy to bring vibrational ‘light’ energy into the body and balance to the seven chakras.
